  1. While I generally echo the sentiments above, I recently went to Wagamama (Southbank branch) with my brother's kids (10 months and 3 years).  They were very kid/baby friendly.

That said, I would probably lump Wagamama in with the Nando's chain, and that's probably not really what you're looking for.

  2. The global-food chain Giraffe is very child friendly (provides colour books and magazines) as is Pizza Express, but might not be your thing... I recently went to Browns on Islington Green with a young baby and they were v accomodating - http://www.browns-restaurants.com/locati... - as I imagine most places would be on Sunday lunch...

  3. if you eat out at 5,00 in the evening you should be all right.

  4. Babies are meant to be left at home when you go out to eat.  People like you ruin everything

  5. The question is are there any restaurant friendly babies.

    The answer is no.

  6. If baby-friendly means having a high chair, then many chain restaurants (like Ask Pizza, Pizza Express, Strada, Caffe Uno) are.   In general, don't count on your meal being served within 20 minutes and being out of the restaurant in an hour though.  This is London, and not NYC, where the clock ticks more slowly for service folks.

I have found some hotel restaurants are quite acommodating.

Also The Electric in Notting Hill caters to parents+babies.
