or most ppl who have alot of fish have alot of partners. Or have you guys heard any? I have Goldfish, Bettas, Guppies, Black mollies and Dalmation mollis. No, they are not in the same tank. Are there any beliefs or sayings?

I have been n the hobby for over 55 years and have never heard any of those beliefs. Especially that you have to be rich to have fish, I am proof that that is not true, I am not rich but still have 10 aquariums set up and running.

i've heard that keeping fish is good luck but i didn't hear that it made any difference how many.  other than that, no.  never heard anything like you've mentioned.

A lot of people believe that running a marine tank requires deep pockets. They're certainly more expensive than freshwater tanks, but you don't need to be wealthy to have one.
