Are there any benefits in a waterbed?

I remember back in the days everyone had a waterbed. Were there any actual benefits in having one?

Do they still make them?  I remember a boyfriend I had about 15 years ago had the plastic kind with water in it, and every time he would lie down I my body would go up and down like I was on a river boat.  They were horrible back then, hopefully they are modernized now.

basically if you are having relations with a really big guy, its a lot better.
