I have had birds for over 20 yrs now. I have 15 cockatiels, 1 quaker, 1 green cheek conure, 2 indian ring necks, 1 cockatoo and 1 pink bourke parakeet. Most of these birds I have are tamed unless I am using them for breeding. I am not currently breeding anyone right now but will soon pair them up in the fall for babies all winter long.All of my tamed birds love giving kisses and using my shoulders for perches. But I caution you to hand each breed in it's own time, handling them together could very well make them attack each other out of jealousy. A terrible lesson to learn the hard way when one of your best birds kills the other.

I have 4 zebra finches 2 male 2 female and 3 society finches I believe 1 is a female and 2 are males its hard to tell with society finches........So 7 birds all together 2 zebra finches were separated from the flight cage due to being territorial and fighting, now with the cages right next to each other they all get along great and are laying eggs peacefully...My birds are very happy & sing alot but I have not trained them to come to me yet being that they are laying eggs now.
