Are there any books about surviving in a deserted place, or wilderness?

I just started getting into reading, so i dont really know much. So far ui've read only one book, and it was amazing. Im looking of reading more. Any books about surviving in some deserted place or something like that (Horror will be appreciated).

Gary Paulsen wrote a few books about surviving in the wilderness, so you can check him out.  One was called Hatchet, I remember.  You can also go to Barnes and Noble and ask for a referal at customer service.  I've done that loads of times.
