Are there any brands that don't use gelatin in their marshmallows?

I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat marshmallows because of the gelatin in them. Does anyone have any brands I can get easily in Shoprite or Pathmark (in the U.S.A.)?

  1. If you know of a whole-foods or something like it in your area, you might be able to find what you're looking for, but I have yet to see veg marshmallows in a regular/chain grocery store near me. I get mine online, at veganstore.com. That reminds me, I'm going camping in a couple of weeks, too. Mmmmm s'mores...

  2. Sweet & Sara make vegan-friendly marshmallows, but you won't likely find them in any "regular" grocery stores.  Whole Foods might have them and you should be able to find them online somewhere.

  3. I've seen once on tv there is a vegan confectionery in New York called Sweet & Sara and I think they sell vegan marshmallow.

Oh, here is the website : http://www.sweetandsara.com/
