If so, what? And do you like it?

Over here in the UK, we have lots of American progammes, some good, some bad.

Loads of british programmes have been made into american versions, for example The Office, Vicar of Dibley etc... so I was just wondering if any original british programmes are actually broadcasted.

Thanks.

  1. some but not on the 'regular' channels- except for PBS ( a viewer/government sponsered channel- PBS nationaly has shown many dramas and myteries-also local tv station may buy British shows like the sitcoms and dramas ( also some children's like teletubbies) PBS is where most americas will see British telly- we used to get lots of stuff but since cable satelite the cost for PBS to Buy British shows has gone up the BBC and the other uk tv companies can make more selling to cable

cable has BBC America  which has some comedies, drama,

and also cable A&E has run some of the mysteries/dramas-  The Sci Fi channel  shows Dr who and other simular type shows
