Are there any buses from Toronto airport to downtown montreal?

No but there would be a bus to downtown Toronto where you could get a VIa Rail ticket and take the train

or even better just fly to Montreal

a bus would be about 8hours and $100 for student $200 for Adult. and you would still have to get from the airport to a bus station

it's about $120 on deal to fly to Montreal  then you can take a local train from Montreal airport to downtown

also the train would be about 6hours and the $80 range

Since you're already at the airport, I'd just fly to Montreal if I were you.
