Are there any car insurance companies that don't check your credit report?

Check with Infinity Insurance.  I worked for them awhile back and they insure people who can't get insurance with other companies due to bad credit, bad driving records, etc.

Just apply to several companies and decline to give your ss#.  You may find a smaller co that doesn't require the report.

There are still some who do not but there is no way to tell those who do and those who do not without asking them.  If you don't want them checking your credit, go see an independent insurance broker.  He should know who checks and who doesn't

they all do to protect themselves against fraud and it can determine you rates, almost anyone (almost ) can get insurance but how the amount they pay is a different story high risk drivers can too but they will pay a very high rate
