Obviously used.. but in that price range, I could probably go to 2,500 max. I want something that is reliable and won't break down.

Thanks in advance.

  1. if you are extremely lucky....You'll be able to find a Honda Civic in that range....but who would want to sell that in this day and age with 4 Bucks a gallon at the pump?

You should look around a bit...See what you find and what you like....If you can't find anything in your area.... An option....even though it might seem a bit outlandish...is to ship one in...

    Check this site out....

    http://www.japanesevehicles.com

Check out the civics...almost all of them and in reasonably good condition....find out how much it would cost you to ship one in and how long it would take...

If you don't want to do either of the two....what you can probably do...is save up your money a little bit more and search a little longer before you invest in a car.

If you work...check out some deals at your Car Lot... sort out payments and stick to them...

    Hope this information helps!

  2. Perhaps in a retirement dwelling you may find something.

Craigslist, free to list, and to look, locally.

If you find something, write down the VIN number and check it out on car fax.

Get a free quote from your insurance company, but explain your only thinking about it.

Many insurance companys won't insure cars over 30 years old, and only liability over 20 but under 30 years old.

  3. Theres heaps you can get for 2k. Reliable, i'd probably go for a toyota or holden.. as they are quite reliable, and even if they do break down, wont cost u a fortune to fix! try the old corolla, fiesta, festival etc. maybe even try the maxda 626 (hatcback) that's what i've got, and i got it for 2.5k.. pretty awesome :)

  4. the good car you can buy for 2000$ is bugati, toyota supra, ferrari, lamborghini, bently etc.. go to this cars showroom immediately with 2000$ surely they will give u

  5. yeah, you can definitely get a decent car for around $2000.

  6. Sure, $2000 will net you a decent basic driver.  It may take you a while to find a car that will be in good mechanical shape and rust-free but they are out there.  Just be patient and don't forget to have the car looked at by a trusted shop or mechanic as part of the condition of sale.  If the seller refuses to let you do this, it's most likely because he or she is hiding something.  Just walk away at that point.
