I know Niagara has a casino but are there any casinos closer to vaughn or toronto?

Also what age are you legally alowed to buy in a poker table?

  1. There is a seasonal one at the Ex ( Canadian National Exhibition) at the bottom of the city ( toronto)

  2. I live in Orillia (close to rama)...

Poker buy in starts at $40, and the low limit tables are high of $200.

It goes up and up on high times (like a Saturday night)

You can take a bus up here with Tia Pan Tours for like $5 bucks return, and they give you a meal.

Niagara is nice as you have something to do when you loose your money, and there are two casinos. In Rama, its just the casino (but closer to Vaughn!)

  3. Exhibition Place I believe.

  4. As for full fledged casinos... no, there are none in Vaughan or Toronto.  There is however slots available at Woodbine Racetrack, but they have been on strike lately.  A little further out are Ajax and Mohawk Racetracks that have slots.  Check the OLG's website for updates.  The closest, full casinos other than Niagara are Rama, Great Blue Heron, and Brantford.  You'd need to go to one of those to play poker.

Check out http://www.olg.ca for everything you need to know.  Click on 'slots and casinos'.

  5. Woodbine on rexdale boulevard by  highway 427 opens 24/7
