yes... handball is a very popular sport overseas, especially in europe... probably second to football (soccer). in the highest leagues, the guys have big-name sponsors and are paid very well. i'm pretty sure every nation has their celebrity handballers but one who is particularly well known in the handball world is pascal hens of germany.
