  1. Here in the UK only the 1881 census is completely free to view. I have access to all census through www.ancestry.co.uk and I'm quite happy to do a  look up for you.

    You can also try FreeCEN at

    It's not complete but you might be lucky and they may have transcribed areas of interest to you.

    Unless you put it in your question, we can't tell what country you are in. It is the most frustrating thing Y!A does. Even if you go in through Y!A Australia, Y!A Canada or ordinary Y!A, all the questions in English go into one big "pot". I'm in California, for instance.
