Are there any chain stores/retail stores/fastfood/smoothie places that hire at 15-15 1/2 in CA?

best thing you can do is call those stores and ask- where I live I know Subway hire younger kids as well as Mc Donalds.However even though they are a franchise they are not all owned by the same person and that would affect the hiring requirements.  Good Luck

There are a lot of them

Especially fast food in the summer.

Other places are a little more hesitant because 15 year olds are only allowed to work a certain amount of hours.

Check boutiques and local businesses.

That's all you can really do, is look and ask around.
