Are there any changes coming for adult Yahoo profiles?

Question

I got an email, allegedly from Yahoo saying that April 9th they will be deleting photos from adult profiles. I don't have the email anymore but I am pretty sure it also said the plan is to do away with adult profiles altogether.

So far, no one else we know is getting this email except those in one group we belong to. I wonder if it is a prank?
