Are there any charities in Salem County NJ?

Question

I was recently on a driving trip, through salem county nj. i was shocked at how poor many of the towns were we drove through, we went through salem, quinton, bridgeton, and a few others in the area. Does anyone know if there are any charities / community organizations helping these people? I work with some charities more north and frequently provide food etc for a family in need, and would like a referral for a family down in this area who needs some services. Can anyone help?
