Are there any charities that accept large appliances as donations?

I have a kitchen stove in very good condition, its too nice to just throw away, somebody could get use from it

some salvation army and dav stores take appliances. if not call some local social service orgs. or food banks. i'm sure they or some low income family would greatly appreciate your generosity.
