That would uplift a wardrobe and two single beds today in Lanarkshire Scotland?

I have tried everything. Getting new furniture delivered today and need to get shot of this old stuff.

why not try selling the items on eBay with no reserve, that way you'll get money for it and get rid of it. if you still want to do your bit for charity, you could donate the money you get

why dont you try the site freecycle for getting rid of stuff quickly.

try freecycle - I don't know if there is one for Lanarkshire, but I am a member of my local one.  You can advertise anything that you have got that you don't want money for but want rid of, and anyone who wants it contacts you and arranges to come and collect.  I joined up through yahoo groups.
