Here is something handy if you're too lazy to shop for clothing. Its on this website called www.modthesims2.com ; Its free to sign up.

Once you sign up you can download lots of stuff for free.

I use this "Shop at Home" Hacked Coat Hook in my Sims 2 game, in order to use it download it first then unrar or unzip it into this folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads

Once you put it in your Downloads folder, run the game and look under Build Mode --> Misc -->Dressers. I think so at least its there, from the top of my head.

This mod will let you "buy" clothing at home for free. Enjoy!

just use this cheat for pc motherlode itll give you $50000 so you can just buy all you want with that money

when you go to the "create a sim" section and you name your sim with a capital "M" (or it might be "N" im not sure - which ever one activates it the other de-activates it) it acitvates a cheat that allows you to get some new hairstyles n diff skin colours, some clothes are also added to choose from.

before you do this tho i think you have to do the cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" in the neighbourhood mode or in and individual household (this is actually a really good cheat, press shift n click on the mail box n you can do all kinds or crazy things. press shift n click on anything really for all kinds of diff options)

then there's always the money cheat if you jst wnat to buy more clothes - "motherlode"

you download the clothes from the sims 2 website
