  1. I recommend Apologia.  It is written from a young earth perspective, but it teaches information about the old earth and evolution theories as well, so that kids have a well rounded understanding of both the evidence and what different "camps" do with it.

  2. Apoligia is great. I haven't seen the different theories is apoligia in younger grades but then I am only in third grade and not even 1/3 of the way through the text book.

  3. Not if "Christian" means "of Christ".  If you read the bible you will learn that Jesus Christ is the creator of all things.  The earth was created when he did it.  It isn't a theory.  It is biblical history.  There are many people that develop programs that purport to change the minds of other people but the reality is that God is the authority -- and if you want to know what he did and what he says you have to read it in his word.

  4. No, I have never seen a Christian curriculum that teaches BOTH young and old earth theories. I actually looked because I wanted something like that, and I found nothing. Let me know if you find one thought!

  5. Have you checked out Alpha Omega Press?  Their curriculum seems to incorporate both ancient Bible history and the time after the birth of Christ.  I am not sure if that is what you mean or not.  In fact, my complaint with Alpha Omega curriculum is that their curriculum spends a little too much time on Biblical history, I already use their Bible curriculum as part of my daughters work,  For instance, in our most recent History book, the first third was concentrated on the story of the tower of Babel and the confounding of language.  She learned that in her Bible class tool  But if you are looking for curriculum that really incorporates the bible into every subject, Alpha Omega may be for you.  Check it out with a search for Alpha Omega Press.  glorianne@hughes.net (the email associated with this account is my daughters and I may not see any correspondences.

  6. Most likely there are not.  However, you can use a curriculum (whatever it teaches) and supplement on your own with your beliefs.

We use a secular curriculum, but we supplement with a lot of books and resources from Answers in Genesis (young earth view - and they explain why old earth doesn't stack up).

  7. I really have enjoyed Apologia Curriculum. It teaches creation of course BUT, it also teaches what evolutionists believe and why. It lays out all the inconsistencies in evolution very well. My daughter loves it. I have some friends who's kids are in college that are actually excelling in their science classes because they had such a strong base in these courses. They have a great elementary program that is an immersion program for certain subjects like Astronomy, Botany, Land Creatures, Flying Creatures, Swimming Creatures ect. Then they go to the middle - high school programs that are text book format. They all have labs to go with them as well.

You should check out this website as well about a GREAT movie coming out about Creation Scientists and the battles they face!
