  1. I don't really know, but the forums over at the City Data website are a good place to ask people who live there (see link below).


  2. No. All cities in the Midwest are vulnerable to severe weather events such as tornadoes and major floods. The chances of either are small anywhere you go in the Midwest, but some places are more likely to experience such events than others. Wisconsin and Michigan are the safest.
