  1. If you want to work in investments you will need a four year degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other quantitative major (at the very least).

  2. Anything at a two-year college could just be read on your own time. go to the local bookstore. the intelligent investor is the standard for everyone, even for Buffet. The fundamentals of investing is not difficult. Only advance mathematical/statistical models is where it gets hairy, but those are learned in the last years of a four-year college and MBA programs. You can learn everything online. Read investopedia.com.

  3. Nope.  I graduated with an accounting degree and took a lot of finance classes.  They teach you what to look for but they don't teach you how to value a stock.  Plus the classes have very outdated material.

  4. I have yet to find anywhere in the Academic world classes that address investment strategies.

You will have to do this one on you own, but it's not that big of a deal as long as you work at it.
