Are there any classes in high school that deal with game designing?

I'm in high school but the question isn't for me,my little brother is interested in this field,but I'm not in to the computer stuff so i wouldn't know if there is a class relating to this stuff

at my school we have computer tech. and that's pretty much what they do. websites, games. i sometimes hang out in there to pass the time and watch what people do. i never thought it'd be that interesting, but some of it actually is. haha.

I'm guessing you could get some training by taking Graphic Arts.

There is a 99% chance that their high school won't have any classes directly dealing with game design.

Taking a computer science/programming course for a language like Java or C++ will give them a taste of some programming though.
