  1. Most community colleges will still be enrolling students for the fall. They are certainly an option, because they are reputable, inexpensive, and if you do well there, you can transfer into a strong university.

There are some colleges that will still be admitting students into their fall classes, even at this late date. I don't know where you want to go to college in terms of region, or what your GPA or SATs are like, but there are schools that are still accepting applications. You can find a list here: http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college...

Go toward the bottom of that list. You'll see the application deadlines. Start with the schools where applications are due 8/15. Note that a lot of the schools that list "rolling admissions" may in fact be full by now, but you can call and ask; but any school that lists an application deadline of 8/15 or later is fair game to you.

There are some pretty decent schools on that list, so despite this late date, you don't lack for choices. But you really do need to move quickly on this.

Also, be sure to file the FAFSA immediately, asap. That'll determine your financial aid for this year. Don't delay on that one. Google it.

  2. Try contacting your area community college.  I bet you can get into some general ed classes for the fall.  In the meantime, start completing applications NOW for admission into the January semester at the colleges you really want to go to

  3. you  can try calling the admission office of the universities or colleges ur interested in and ask them if they have spaces

  4. Depends on what kind of college you're looking for.  Even if you can't get in for the Fall semester, you can still apply now to most and start in the Spring.  I would recommend calling a couple colleges and asking them about it.  They could even give you the chance to still apply for this upcoming Fall semester if they have some spaces that haven't been filled.  Good luck, and remember, even if you don't go to college right away you can always take this year off to relax a little and then apply next year.  You're never too old to go back to school.

  5. i think you can apply to most of them still. my brother just madeup his mind last week and he got in the one that wanted him though. i'm not sure if it was different that he had scholarships there or not.

i would call the admissions offices at the colleges you want to go to.

if not you could always do community college for a semester and then transfer to a university after.
