Are there any companies that help with moving?

I currently live in England and my partner lives in the US. I was just wondering if there are any companies that help with either me emigrating to the US or help him come to the UK? please advise x

Sacrifice must be made by any of you to be together in one country.  The better situation must be the priority.

Natalie, sell everything that takes to much space, or has little meaning. Keep the essentials, travel lightly.

If you're an engineer or programmer just out of college (or otherwise willing to take below-average pay in a high-demand field on an H1B visa), yes, otherwise, not so much.

You say you "live in England"..  are you a US citizen or UK?  

What is your position, what is your partners?  

Depending on the demand of the type of work either of you do, will depend on whether a company will help.

Will they help you move once you qualify, yes.  Many large corporations will do that.  However, the issue is qualifying. Therein lies the rub - citizenship, Visa issues, etc - laws play a factor and again, the demand for your skills.

Work the top 100 companies list - see who offers which benefits and programs for the type of work either of you can do.  If you are good, a company will work to get you here - but if you are not a US citizen, they must show that only YOU can do the job and not a US citizen in order to get you here.  It has gotten tougher.

If you can take time, work the list, and see who is global with a branch where you live.  GET IN that company, then in a year or whatever their job change rules allow, you will have a better chance at coming to the USA.
