Are there any complaints about the ceremony of matrimony?

When they are TOO long, it sucks. Catholic weddings are always too long, in my opinion. But anything over about 45 minutes, and people start getting ancy.

I've been to weddings that were an hour long and one that was an hour-and-a-half. It was like torture.People started joking that if they knew it would be that long, they would have bought popcorn and a soda. And where was the concession stand? And the bathrooms??

Please, keep it relatively short.

yes catholic weddings are quite long.   especially the ones where they do communion.   Also some weddings where they have singers , pick a short song.  I have only been to one wedding where the singer got rave reviews.  the obey part ,  ehh thats up to a couple.  Im like a 1950's housewife (with tattoos)  , so i wont mind   but the "til death do us part" could sound like an incentive.  lol

I agree with the long part. I've never complained about a wedding ceremony until I went to a Catholic wedding. If you are Catholic...do whatever you can to not make it seem like a weekend church service!

The "obey" part should be changed to respect.
