Are there any complications after a cat has a hernia operation?

My cat has a hernia and is going to go get it taken care of in September. I do not know if the vet just didn't want to worry me and didn't feel me in.

  2. Nope, hernias are super easy to fix. Its much simpler than a spay. If your cat is already spayed/neutered, then its not much different than that, and I wouldn't worry any more than you did before that procedure. I have never seen any complications from a hernia repair.
