  1. The best credit repair technique is to pay all bills subsequent to your bankruptcy on time.  Give yourself about 24 months to rehabilitate your credit through timely progress payments.

However, do NOT expect the bankruptcy to fall off of your credit report until the 10 year statute of limitation has expired.

That is why bankruptcy is a choice of very last resort.  It stays on your credit report for a decade.

  2. Sorry although there are thing you can do to make your credit look better after BK. It does remain on your report for 10 years. and cannot be removed

  3. No.....However, you won't have bad credit forever because you filed for BK....You will have bad credit for sure for the first two years after filing..but if you stay out of financial trouble, you'll start to see your credit rating improve after two years....You can have good credit as soon as 3 years after filing....granted....you stay out of financial trouble.

Don't waste your time/money with any firm that promises that they can remove your BK filing from your credit report.

  4. No i dont Thank thier is. sorry. Credit work like this  if you miss a payment or two your credit score drops 50 points when you make a pyment it goses up 2 or 3 points. Best thing to do is just keep trying to rebuild you credit and dont miss payments. Good luck

  5. Sorry to say but there is NO WAY to remove it from your credit reports for 10 years.

However, Two years after a bankruptcy discharge, debtors are eligible for mortgage loans on terms just as good as those with the same financial characteristics who have not filed bankruptcy.  That is, in getting a home loan after a bankrutpcy, the size of your down payment and the stability of your income will be much more important than the fact you filed bankruptcy in the past.

While the fact that you filed bankruptcy stays on your credit report for 10 years, it becomes less significant the more time elapses.  In fact, you are probably a better credit risk after bankruptcy than before
