  1. They call them the coastal cruises under the princess line.

  2. I don't believe there are any cruises that go from Los Angeles to Seattle in June.  I believe Holland America has a repositioning cruise from San Diego to Seattle in April or May........the Oosterdam changes it's itinerary from San Diego-Mexico to Seattle-Alaska at that time, thus the ship will need to head up to Seattle.

Princess Cruiseline may also have a repositioning cruise that will come up to Seattle around the same time to take on the Alaska itinerary also.

  3. First of all, none of the major cruise lines can make the itinerary you list legally, as it would require an American flagged ship and all the major cruise line ships are foreign flagged except the ones in Hawaii, which stay in Hawaii.

However, you can get a cruise ship to go from Los Angeles (or San Diego) to Vancouver, Canada (which is only minutes from Seattle).

Still, you cannot do it in June.  There are several ships that do this itinerary in May, but by June the ships are busy cruising in Alaska.

So, here are your choices for May 2008 ...

May 3 the Holland America Line (HAL) Ryndam goes from San Diego to Vancouver in four nights.

May 3 the Golden Princess goes from Los Angeles (LA) to Vancouver in six nights.

May 4 the Dawn Princess goes from San Diego to Vancouver in three nights.

May 7 the Diamond Princess goes from LA to Vancouver in three nights.

May 11 the HAL Amsterdam goes from LA to Vancouver in four nights.

May 14 the Sapphire Princess goes from LA to Vancouver in three nights.

May 16 the Island Princess goes from LA to Vancouver in three nights.

  4. LOL at Zef.  He is correct on all points except Vancouver being a few minutes away.  Unless you have a rocket pack and can take off directly from the port.  Seattle is about 3 hours away by car, 4 by train, and 30 minutes by plane but you would have to do the whole airport thing that would make it more like 2 hours.
