Are there any dangers of wake boarding?

definitely, just about anything you can think of COULD happen, but isn't too likely.

I've gotten whiplash twice from wipeouts, but it's been worth it every time.

Of course. (Hitting shore and breaking a bone, hitting the water too hard and busting an ear drumb, crashing into another board, cutting your foot, running into a jump...blah blah blah) There are dangers in any sport, but you shouldn't dwell on them. Just be careful.

Yeah, as with most action sports.  I've gotten a concussion from a wipeout and also some whiplash.  Sandbars can cause serious injury to both the boarder and the driver/spotter.

These are a few and don't happen very often. If you play it safe, there is a slighter chance injury will occur.

The board hitting you and cutting/bruising/knocking you out.  Plus i imagine if you hit the water or a ramp hard enough it could do some damage(if you were using ramps)
