Are there any decent free online surveys that actually pay you?

I always see these survey things....yet they never pay you, just wondering if anyone had any luck...and how much can you expect.

One of those who answered you above me suggested that all of the survey websites out there are scams and that there really aren't any who pay.  This is not true.   I myself use survey websites, and while I don't make very much money off of them, I do in fact make money, and I do in fact get paid.  There are a lot of scams out there though, and you have to be extremely cautious in what you sign up for and what information you give out.  Never give out any credit card or bank account information. Never give out any sensitive information at all - such as a social security number. Do NOT pay anyone to complete surveys online. There is no "free" money online - the fact of the matter is filling out surveys is work.  It may not seem like work, it may not feel like work, but it is in fact work.  Companies are paying you to fill out  surveys for them so they can collect relative data for their products and services and in turn make more money themselves.  Nobody is going to hand you out money.   Even through referral systems, you are only ever making a commission when somebody does the physical hard work.

That being said, you can in fact make some nice pocket change off of surveys - I make about 75$ on average a month from this sort of thing - but i've seen people make up to 300$.  It all depends on how much time you put into it.  If you're looking for a place to start, I've posted a couple of links on my website - http://www.freewebs.com/optics233/index.... - I've only posted links to survey websites which have actually paid me, so I cannot vouch for any not posted there.  I've also put up additional information on avoiding scams and how to make the most of your survey experience on there.
