Are there any decommissioned airplane yards near Boston,MA??

Can you go in and see the airplanes, like not only walk around but go inside them?

  1. Aircraft "boneyards" are pretty much all in the southwest, because of the climate.  The aircraft keep longer in the heat and dry air.


  2. Theres opa locka in Florida and then Mojave and Pinal Airpark in the southwest desert. They don't let you into them and the ones in the desert are really hard to see into so its not worth going there to take photographs unless you can arrange a special tour or do a fly by.

  3. unless there are ust some unworthy planes at a local airport or over at logan i dont know of any. They are in the south and southwest. usually they are scrapped if they are far from a yard...The last crah i remember was a delta hit the seawall back in the early 70,s what was let o it and wher it went i dont know
