Question:

Are there any democratic countries in the middle east?

Or are the folks there so tied into a theocracy type state that democracy will fail? Do the tenants of Islam even allow for democracy?

    Funny - someone thinks that the SAUDI flipping Arabians are Democratic...America's schools are soooo bad.

    There's not much chance of turning Iraq from 1400 years of hegemony, tribalism and theocracy to democracy, especially if you try to force it down their throats.
