Are there any devices i can buy to take and read PDF and word docs any where?

i have a lot of ebooks i would like to read but i hate being confined to my PC. i could buy a laptop but i have never seen any with 20g HDD.

are there any PDS that would work? or some other small device.

the key is to read the docs any where, so a small flash drive would not work.

Any PDA with windows mobile will be able to read word docs because it comes with pocket word.  There is also a free app to read pdf files you can install on your pda.
