I can only find flights that have a layover in Miami and Houston. You practically fly past Puerto Rico, just to go back. Is there a way to fly to another country like Panama? The idea is to cut down the travel time.

  1. avianca

  2. I dont know but you might wnat to try flying to another carribean island and then from there to PR.  Like try flying to Aruba or DR and from there to PR. Try this website too. Good luck.

  3. www.sidestep.com

  4. You dont mind if I look in your bag do you sir? Asking for a direct trip  between those spots is like branding smuggler on your forehead.

  5. There are no direct flights to Puerto Rico from Colombia. Avianca is trying to get permission from the U.S. and Colombia to fly that route, however that won't happen for a few years.  Your best bet is flying to Panama City and catching the direct flight on Copa Airlines to San Juan.  There are also direct flights to Puerto Rico from Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and Caracas, Venezuela on American Airlines.
