Are there any discos or night clubs at monmouth il?? what do ppl there do for fun??

im moving to monmouth soon, im from chicago nd Im worried about having fun there. I have been threre like 3 times nd it seems like theres nothing fun there!!

I lived there for 25 years. There are bars but no clubs. Honestly there is not much to do there but it is quiet and nice. Galesburg (20 min. away) has a bar called cherry street that plays music and people dance though I would not consider it a club. You would need to go to the Quad Cities or Peoria (both 1 hour away) to find a club. Monmouth is more of a family orientated place. There are a few good restaurants such as IV (pizza), Barnstormer's (more formal). Good luck.
