  1. Do you love singing and acting? How many local productions have you been in? Do you take voice lessons? Are you involved in local theater?

If your only ambition is to be a Disney Channel star realize that it is a career that will last from the years between 10 and 18 at the MOST unless you mean playing the mom.

I mean are we really going to have Zach and Cody the College Years? Maybe on Bravo or ABC Family but NOT on Disney Channel. Disney Channel narrowly targets ages 8-15 meaning characters can really only be 9-14 as hardly anyone wants to watch characters who are younger than they are.

Wanting to be a Disney Channel star is looking at a very short career indeed and is a short sighted goal.

If you think Disney Channel is going to launch you into instant stardom...that was really only true of Aguilera and Timberlake and even then -- they were on Mickey Mouse Club when they were NINE and we did not hear of them until they were -- what 16? Go figure -- the same age one ages out of the Disney Channel.

Britney Spears is another case of Disney Channel to stardom but is that the road you want to be on?

What about the shows that were on a few years ago? Shia LeBouf has a little acting success from Even Stevens but what about Christy Carlson Romano who played Ren? Is she a star as an adult? Are the other kids from that show?

So the answer is...you could go to an open audition and see what happens...which I am 99.999999999999999% sure will be nothing.

OR...you can think about a solid career in acting starting locally and working from there as your talent grows and your ability to take on larger roles for more important theatres grows also and then you can possibly move on to Broadway or movie studios after that.

  2. nope.

  3. Yes, but it's really hard to get cast for those parts unless you have a lot of experience because SO many people submit to them. Go here:

Even the smallest roles are hard to get and once you submit, if you get called in , be prepared to go out to LA for auditions (They typically won't pay for your plane ticket or travel expenses)

Good luck and try and start small.

  4. it depends have you checked out the disney website. and why do you find yourself worthy enough to be on disney anyway? is it just because you just wanna meet the "stars". or are you an actress already and disney is something you want to work for.
