Question:

Are there any doctors in the house?

I am wondering if there are any doctors out there that are willing to write me a doctors note for college. Basically I signed a contract saying that I would stay in on-campus housing for my first 2years of school and I will be a sophmore in the Fall 2008 semester. I have been housed in the oldest building with 7 suite mates without a kitchen or air-conditioning and one bathroom to share.

I would like to be housed in the apartments adjacent to the building where I would have a full kitchen, and 1 bathroom for every 2 residents. Basically, I really want the kitchen so I can cook and bake my own food ( I'll be taking 2 baking courses this Fall). Also, I had alcoholic roommates last year so I'd really like my own room.

The only difference between the two buildings of residence is the kitchen, but my school requires a medical note.

Are there any doctors that would be willing to write me a note saying that I have special dietary needs that require me to have a kitchen? Please?

  1. I'm a physician, and the answer is no.  I'm not going to lie on your behalf.

A doctor's note requires that you be a patient of that doctor, which entails a history and physical examination, which cannot be done over the computer.

You'd be better off asking a lawyer to find you a legal loophole in the contract.  They don't have the same ethical standards that physicians do.

    Good luck.
