The ones on the Pacific.....I heard on the news that it's pretty bad in California, but what about in Oregon and Washington State and even British Columbia......we are seriously thinking of moving from Australia to there..

  1. ummmm, idk? i think were still trying to save water and stuff,  am i right BTW i live in Los Angeles,CA so i guess they do have some drought problems, but nothing you can't handle. how's is it like in Australia?

  2. Well, much of the western united states has been in some form of drought the last several years, in some places across the interior western U.S. such as in Arizona, Montana, Wyoming and colorado, drought has been persistant since about 1999. As for California, Oregon , or Washington, I know the drought has caused considerable areas of forest to die off in parts of British Columbia, as well as in California, and both places have experienced an abnormally large amount of forest fires the last several years to a decade thanks to this problem. The drought has not been as bad in washington state or Oregon as in California but they still have been losing forests to pests and disease outbreaks, which are drought-related. Water Quality and availablility have also been affected by the drought, air quality has also been reduced considerably in the areas of the  wildfire activity.
