Are there any effects if you stay in a swimming pool to long?

Like would anything bad happen if you stayed in a pool to long?

It depends on how long. If you stay in for a while, you might get itchy after, but a nice long shower will fix that.  If it is over a day and a half, the skin will break down. and u DO NOT want that!!

The only thing I could think off is bad smell.

But if you're talking about like staying in water for like 2 days or something, the skin will break down.
