Are there any english speaking universities in germany?

Question

I'm 19 and would like to transfer colleges from the US to Germany when I'm around 20-21, I can only speak a little german, I've been and will keep on practicing german, but I know it still wouldn't be good enough to make it through college classes. so that's why I was wondering about any ones there that are in english like an international one or something? but there's a catch it must have psychiatry available, since that's what I want to do....any places?

Heidelberg, Munich, Frankfort, and Berlin have English speaking Universities. Anyway English is like Germany's second language, English is a required class in their schools.

In Potsdam the university is in english.

I was a psych major at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, CA but it was psychology not psychiatry but I'm thinking that you could call the psych dept at Oxy and ask for a referral to Germany, English Speaking.   Lemme see if I can find an email address or a phone ... brb .... here we go:

She's in the career section but I would email her or call and just ask her if she could help you or what is the number of someone at Oxy who can help you.  Tell them what you want and see if they can match you up with someone over there.  They should have global contacts from anywhere.

The gist is that there is no international university, and very very few universities in Germany offer courses in English at undergrad level. (The Heidelberg university mentioned above is for U.S. military personnel only.)

In addition to this is that in Germany Psychatry is  part of the medical branch. You would need to become a student of medicine in Germany, with all the jumping through the hoops that that entails. Only after you've passed all the exams allowing you to practise medicine in Germany (normally after 6 years of studying) could you do the "Facharzt" specialisation (residency program) for Psychatry.
