Are there any exercises i can do at home to improve my 1500m running?

  1. The only way to run faster is by running.

    Same thing with playing the piano, you don't get better at playing the piano if you are watching TV, but you actually have to do it.

    Ofcourse, there are "finger exercises" that help strethen your fingers, and its the same with running.

    A few pushups a day and 100 crunches won't hurt, but when it comes down to it, the only way to get faster is by running.


  2. the most important part of running is your arms. if youve been watching the olympics, you will see that the athletes pump there arms in order to go faster. So the stronger your arms, the faster you are. I would lift light free weights with many repitiions, becasue distnace runners arent supposed to have too much muscle, we should had tight muscle with no bulk. So dont bulk up with heavy weights to impress the ladies, unless youre a sprinter, youll only slow yourslef down.

    Also try running 400's

    they help you gain speed.
