I find Stephanie Meyers writing style very similar to J.K Rowling, they both keep you glued to the book, and have things in them that sound crazy but the writers write in a way that makes you believe it could be possible.

lynne ewing. all of here books. except the barbarian series. the daughters of the moon series is my fav. also try jenna solitare and cornelia funke. the ink series (inkheart, inkspell, and inkdeath)
