Are there any ferries from Vietnam to Malaysia?

I would like to know if there is any passenger ferry connecting any two points in these countries...

While I cannot state, catagorically, that there is not, I don't believe there is. It is a long boat ride between the two countries. That would tend to disqualify a "ferry". I'm sure that there is significant freighter traffic between Malasia and Vietnam, and probably a cruise ship between Singapore and Saigon, but I don't know for sure. Imagine a "ferry" between Miami and Mexico...well thats roughly the same distance between Vietnam and Malaysia.

there are no ferries sailing between vietnam and malaysia. there are cruise ships that call in to those ports as a progression during their round trips. cargo ships and coastal freighters are not a practical solution either
