  1. As a teen, I read a book about a brother, sister, and their Aunt (Tilly?) taking a cross country trip by train. It took place in the early 1900's, I believe. They ran into many problems along the way. Now...if only I could remember the title.

I cannot imagine anything fictional about trains and enginners or conductors as it is all probably true,, about the only ive never heard happen is flying,,, theres been fight, most engineers have killed a few people crossing the tracks, always hitting animals,,, staying in hotels,,, falling off the trains, jumping from a moveing train when they witnessed an automobile runnoff in a river to save their life... he just set the brakes and jumped... Airlines freeze, brakes and ice is a bad mix,,, and thats just my dad
