Preferably in the North Shore/ Northern Beaches area. By fields I mean corn fields or long grass or poppies or whatever.

  1. No - it's all pretty urban.

  2. You will not find any fields in the North shore.Plenty of sandy beaches though.

  3. Good options are at Dural and Galston, which are West of Hornsby (one of the main centres of the North Shore).

  4. There are some in Mona Vale/Warriewood. Go on mona vale rd and then turn off at Powderworks rd (before the bahaii temple) and theres some there and theres also a couple on garden street which is the road powderworks rd finishes at. But there are not that many in Sydney, because its a big city.

  5. No, i highly doubt it.. Its an urban area, so i dont think that there would be fields like that in the north shore areas..

In the south west, there are.. because people dont mow the grass, so its really long.. and there are some bush areas still around lol

I just only found out that rice grows here too.. I never see rice fields, i wonder where they are.. lol

  6. LOL, why would you need a field?

Any who, theres that Chinesse farmers market near Rockdale/Mascot, you could always use that, hahaha. Thats the closest to the city I can think of, unless you used the part of the airport, you know the bit where the planes go up and down???

  7. No fields in the inner city area, although there are plenty of parks.  You'll need to go to the countryside on the outskirts to find fields. It's the same in any large city.

  8. Wow, how amazing would it be to see fields of corn and/or poppies in a built up residential area. But, there are none to be found in the North Shore or Northern Beaches.

    It's an interesting concept though.
