  1. i feed my tiger oscar and firemouth cichlid brine shrimp but its specially made with spirulina in it and spirulina is very very healthy for your fish its  just like us eating vegatables


  2. The normal fish food that you buy is usually enriched with vitamins unless, you just want the vitamins straight up. Majority of the times, it's very hard to find vitamins straight up, you have to look for foods like pellets, flakes, dried brine shrimp, etc. to see how much vitamins these foods contains.

    Fishes needs vitamins to stabilize their health, so companies finds ways to include these vitamins to make the fishes stronger, the fishes colors stand out, to help fishes from getting sick or to help prevent diseases.

    So my advice, you should be looking at the label on the fish food and compare with the others to see which one has the most nutrients for your fish.
