  1. I have a brazilian Flex Car. We use gasoline or ethanol. It´s not necessary priority any fuel.

But I prefer ethanol because the price is better, about US$1,00 / liter.

The ethanol consumption is increase in my Country.

  2. yes! plenty of them in brazil!

The majority of cars that are produced in Brazil since 2005 are flex fuel in here.

They can take ethanol or petrol... You can also mix them...

Its only up to you what you feel like putting on.

(ethanol makes your car works better, but it finishes a lot sooner than petrol)

  3. naniquim is right.

Also, we've been using etanol cars since 1979 when the military gov created the Proalcool program, trying to appease the world oil crisis. Since then they improved a LOT.

The tecnology is very good now.

I remember back in day when gas stations closed on weekends (due to the oil crisis, so people would not use so much gas - it was the LAW) and I just stopped at the pharmacy if I needed alcohol for my cat (thats's over 20 years ago and it's not good for the car)
