    Pizza Hut

Pizza’s that taste like heaven and waiters that sing like the angels there Pizza Hut has been synonomous with the two since its inception into the city of Pune.

Located in the two prime areas of town, namely M.G.Road and J.M.Road, this international chain of restaurants has Pune’s taste buds in a twist.

Both branches of the chain have an ambience worth the mention. The latest one on M.G.Road is a potpourri of fun and frolic for all age groups. It sports a colourful kids play zone upstairs, complete with slides, punching bags and games galore.

But nothing could be as colourful as the variety of pizzas available. In keeping with its international standards, Pizza Hut has sports a similar menu world over. The only difference here would be that extra special effort to cater to the Indian Palate with their Paneer and Tandoori style pizzas. The veg and non-veg variety of Pizzas is as mind boggling, as it is delicious.

The salad bar is worth a mention too. Packed with all the vitamins and veggies cleverly concealed in super tasting salad the salad bar is indeed a treat. But what really takes the cake (no pun intended here) is the variety of scrumptious desserts. The hot favorite is the brownie and ice cream.

With two outlets in Pune turning out a fair share of the Italian delicacy director Ketan Thakkar is planning the next Pizza Hut outlet in Kothrud, followed by Aundh and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Apart from their already active Rs.1/- scheme and the Pizza Pooch Birthday scheme Pizza Hut is planning its E-commerce strategy out. Home Delivery is to be made accessible to a lot more of the city soon too.

Pizza Hut in all its years has survived on its excellent taste quenchers and its impeccable marketing skills. There is no reason why the two should fleet away now. Boasting branches worldwide it captures food lovers with a unique taste of its own.

With a menu to die for and an ambience to charm you, the Restaurant came in equipped to capture the Pune taste buds... and that it did. Still a new born venture in the city, the manager says that BB is packed to the tee every evening.

Every afternoon the restaurant caters to the business clientele of the city serving them a quick and delicious buffet. Priced at Rs.288/- it serves an array of non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes, soups, salads and desserts.

Opening its doors to Pune in December last year Silk Route boasts an impeccable staff of 12 who tend to and satisfy every Chinese, Thai and Japanese Palatable pleasure imaginable.

The budget per head hovers around Rs.200/-. A highly recommended route through the meal would be, the non vegetarian Yakitoni anf Satay Puk (cottage cheese) starters followed by an out of the normal Lemon Grass Thing Soup or a Tom Kha Gai ( a steer away from the over ordered Tom Yum Soup) .Following this with Steamed rice complimented by a chicken delicacy named Phad Phed Pai and Ghang Kheaw Wan a green Thai Curry, would be an excellent course to take.

Finally all of the above topped off with delectable Lynjee Thod Kab I-Tim, which in layterms is lychees in delicious disguise and served with ice cream make the Silk Route the perfect place to eat.
