Question:

Are there any former Peace Corps volunteers who have been to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic

My daughter and her husband have signed up for the Peace Corps and they have recently been notified of a possible assignment together to one of these countries in Central Asia. Any firsthand information would be most welcome.

    Also look on YahooGroups for PeaceCorps groups (there are more than a few).

    A great gift for your daughter and son-in-law would be the Lonely Planet guide for these areas.
